Rai, Kingsley to star in Taj Mahal tale

has signed on to co-star with Ben Kingsley in a movie about the Taj Mahal, the BBC said Wednesday.

the successful star of "Bride and Prejudice" and "Provoked," will play the leading role of Mumtaz Mahal in the film, the favorite wife of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the $30 million as-yet-unnamed film, which will be shoot in India.

Role of Shah Jahan will be played by Ben Kingsley.
